not sure about the single greatist day of my life up till now, but i can tell you that i know for sure when i finally go out and purchase my first new car after i graduate college (sometime within the next year and a half). that will probably take the cake. as i am about 99% sure i will be buying some type of SVT cobra, i have dreamed about having one ever since i got my drivers permit in high school.

up till now and probably for the next year or so i will be driving a car thats still under my parents name. a 1998 accord EX sedan currently. yes it actually has vtec, but no its nowhere near even being peppy. sorry im not posting pics (ill wait till i get my cobra to do that

), just look outside im sure there is one driving by right now that looks exactly the same as mine lol

My greatest days ...

- Seeing the awesome beauty of Grand Canyon and Yosemite National Park
- Getting my first paycheck ... thrilling till I saw how small the amount was
- Buying the Audi and going WOT by Day 2
- Visiting my family and most of my friends who all live 8000+ miles away from me
- Going to my first Formula 1 race and listening the deafening V10 sounds ... heaven!
- Getting the old Audi up to 140 mph...
- Successfully taking a project live (at work)

many more but this will do I guess ...

Such a hard question for anyone…

One of my best days was when I was in Hong Kong and had diner at “The Peak”. Just incredible, a view no one could forget.

Ironic too because if the question were “what was the worst day of your life" I bet it would be a lot easier for everyone to answer….

Not sure about best day, I remember best moments, or best meal or favorite car experience but not sure about best day.

standing 5 feet from a wild adult male lion
dodging jelly fish on the beaches of capetown
working on my fathers caprice as a child
sitting in my fathers lap at 7yo learning to drive
first time i built my own computer
first time i installed new ios on a cisco 2610 via tftp
the day I got my black 85 camaro<first car
first burnout in my own car lol
the day I snapped a connecting rod in my camaro and had to change up the motor
visiting the corvette plant & museum in bowling green ky
the first time i went over 100mph in my camaro
the first time i went over 120mph in my prelude
moving out of my parents house over 800miles away
learning to shoot a firearm
sitting in the dc3 from rocky 4
traveling the mountains of Quetzaltenango, Guatemala
carrying food to starving children
the city of guatemala, seeing the streets and the airport(chickens and goats on the runway lol)
scuba diving for the first time in the gulf of mexico, seeing colors and sights that i never new existed or had only seen in print or on television
first time @depth with a shark as big as me
first time running out of air at 80 feet under water
first time to 130' under water(broke my stupid compass burst a sinus cappalary, and nothing happened to my watch at all lol)
first night dive
first time diving with a manatee,
watching the sun rise over the ocean on bahia honda key in the fla keys,
going to the drag races with my pop in gainsville
first time down the 1/4 @ bradenton
first ride in the new c6 vette

im sure there are plenty more but you get the idea, how about you guys just list a bunch!!

As for my own, passing my driving test, in my mini must rank pretty highly, but i've come to realise how lucky i am at the moment being a student

Hmm... Can't pick "THE" best, but one of the best days of my life was when I went to Estoril, to see an F1 test. Only Williams was there, and they only did about 5 laps, but fuck, that was nice!!!

I was sitting at the GrandStand, about 5 meters away from the track - no ear plugs, only the sweet sound of the V10 ripping all the way trough the main straight. Heaven.

Almost got deaf, but it was more than well worth it. Still get the chills everytime I remember it.

I dont think i could pinpoint my best day, and im sure i have forgot some stuff, but thers been a few good times.

Most recently, my first time behind the wheel of a car on the public roads (yesterday)
My entire work experience at MG-Rover - man those people had fun
Doing 120mph on single lane road, on said work experience.
The many many good times in Washinton and New York with all my mates, on school trip.
Car hunting & successfully tracking down a maybach we passed on the coach 5 miles ago in Geneva. (Thank god for my trainspotter friend!)
Being in our Jag on the day we picked it up, at night, going down a service station exit ramp, with the foot to the floor!
The breathtaking views from Mont Blanc - the most beutiful scenery ive ever seen
On holiday in the swiss mountains, in a log cabin, with the rain lashing against the window, whilst i was warm in my bed, listening to some quality tunes on my MP3 player.

hmmm... several 'great days' in my life, but mostly being an automotive forum, I'd have to say that the few that strike out are:

The time I got my first car (SLK 230K Brabus).
The time I got a 30 minute demonstration from a McLaren spokesperson on the SLR.
The time I got my new car (SLK 55 AMG).
First ride in a Ferrari/Vanquish/Porsche...

Stuff like that

Last month, tuesday 21st June...in France, it was Fête de la musique...i was walking alone, and being the drum-maniac i am, of course i was carrying drumsticks...I stopped by a small bar, on Rue André Mazet, and in front, the house band was starting a jam session....I watched, and suddenly, the drummer asked if i wanted to play...in the beginning there was no one, but soon, about 200 ppl filled the little street...and i sat down to play Miles Davis' SOLAR....Wow....there's a feeling, when u play..any musician knows..You forget everything, just to live that small moment...and best of all...for free...because the greatest pleasures in life come with no charge....(god that sounds like a Mastercard commercial)

i dont think i have a special best day of my life, i guess ive lived many things and have enoyed them all the same, maybe sometimes more than others, but nothing has been extra special. im just grateful for what i have and what ive had the chance to do in all my life.
