a tribute for another anniversary of the first human footsteps on the moon. While they were there, Apollo astronauts took panoramic photos with Hasselblad cameras.

now available as a 360° panorama with sound files from that mission

Nice ponorama, shame there are not many pics from the moon on the met, would be interesting to see good pics

I thought there are no color pics, why is the car in color? must be done after like the hubble telescope

They just enhanced the color of the LEM and such. The cameras did take color photos, it's just that the surface of the moon has is more gray in color. I can't wait to see the Apollo 16 panorama. I witnessed the launch at Cape Kennedy in 1972. I can still remember that day vividly. I remember the ground vibrating as the Saturn V lifted off into space. Great find. Thank you!
