I'm halfway there!! The Mercedes secvice advisor swung by the guys house yesterday (forgot to fuckin call me!) and he was just pulling in, and fortunately he had his camera with him. Since i didn't take the pics this topic can't get moved yet. Both the service advisor and his son went for a ride in it (SOOOOO fuckin jealous!!!)

those are the best two i was able to upload. He left the date stamp on and it got in the way of the engine BUT i've been told the car would be rolling into the dealership sometime soon so one of my cameras will be making a new home in my toolbox

It apparently took him 5 years to get this car, and he has ordered a second from what i am told  it's going to take him another 2 years to get that one...must be nice

no f430 today,(but another F car for the first time ) but some i have roughly 200+ images just from today!
such is the event from 3 car shows in one day, and met a photographer for fast-autos there; but didn't stay to talk with the owners at the concorso italia...

again, it will be an updating process for my sightings post... sooooo much to go through and edit

I saw an F430 roadster today as well, at the ROMANS dealership near my area. They also have a Carrera GT, a new M5, and a CLS55. I remember seeing two Enzo's in their showroom as well, but I'm not absolutely sure.

ROMANS is the same dealership Clarkson is selling his Ford GT on. I wouldn't be surprised if they (ROMANS) offered JC an M5 and cash for it.

...and before you guys start saying "PICS OR STFU!", forget it. It isn't the done thing over here to walk into a dealership, take some photographs, then say cheerio.

what kind of western society do you live in???
honestly, i have never once had a problem with any owner, or dearler letting me take pictures... however, i dont just walk in and snap away, i walk in, and ask if its ok... and its always the same answer so i suggest to try it, and pics or STFU
the only 'problem' ive encountered was owners not wanting to be in the image.

My first F430 He and his wife showed up at work to pick up her new E90 330.

Turns out he has an M5 on order as well I am going to want a big shot of his garage when he gets it He doesn't drive this one too much, since he has an S 500 sitting in his garage 8)

So this can be moved back to the What You Saw Today section since i finally got pics of this sweet little Redhead

I had my shit camera at work thinking i would barely have time to get pics but that turned out to be wrong since he showed up after work. so if some of these are less than stellar, i apologize. Obviously i was not about to let annoyances like people in the background spoil my oppurtunity to capture this beautiful little beast on digifilm

He was really nice about letting me take pics and we talked for a little bit while i was shooting. As has been said before, he ordered this one 5 years ago in Dallas. Picked out the seats and everything. In California you can't touch one for under 400K. in other places they are going for 125K over invoice

Didn't get to hear her startup but i was on too much of a high from being so close to it in fact, i still have the same stupid grin on face that i had 3+ hours ago when i saw it

One thing i must do before making that trip: Get a camera worthy of such a veiw

HE IS FUCKING SELLING IT!!!!!!

He apparently got a call from a California dealer offering him 100K OVER what he paid for it  So he is letting it go with less than 300 miles The question now on his mind (and everyone else's) What do you get after an F430?!?!?!?! There is nothing on the market that comes close to it. The M5 won't hang with it, i mean it's a quick car, but it just can't hang with a Ferrari. He doesn't have the money to snatch up an Enzo ( i don't think) and certainly doesn't have the money for a Maaca. There is nothing that handles like a Ferrari either.

So what do you get to replace an F430

That's cool that he gets an extra 100 grand. I don't know what he could get, maybe a 575M? I certainly like those, but they're a different kind of car.

I guess hard cash is more valuable for him than the car itself.

Maybe placing an order on the F430 'CS' (or whatever they are going to call it). Or if that one takes some years before it will be released you could also place an order on the upcoming 550/575M replacement.

Good news dude....

I don't like the fact he is selling it - buying a Ferrari shouldn't be a 'business'.

Anyway I would go with the CS (current version) - great car and should keep him occupied until the new CS arrives.
