Hi
Although im not talking about modern cars, i think that interesting to talk about a topic which consists of car transformations (as Brabus or RUF do for mercs and porsche respectively) but in a cheap way. Nonetheless, because the transformation is done with a limited budget it doesnt mean that the modification is crap; here we go some examples showed by pics
A Seat 124 / Fiat 124 / Lada 2101 with a Delta Integrale engine, among other transformations

A Vauxhall Nova GTE/Opel Corsa GSI 16v with a Calibra turbo in it (a 2.0 turbo 16v in it)

A Vauxhall Astra GTE / Opel Kadett GSI with the same calibra engine

A Lancia Y 10 Turbo with the Integrale engine
[img=http://img173.imageshack.us/img173/4438/y10integrale4nx.jpg]
And finally, a Pug 205 GTI with a Pug 405 MI16 engine, or a pug 306 GTI engine in it

In addition, Ive noticed other transformations made by people in a similar way
A Citroen AX GTI or pug 205 rallye with the Saxo VTS engine (1600cc instead of 1400/1300cc engine)
A Ford Escort RS turbo with the engine capacity increased from 1600cc to 1800cc and of course, the equivalent turbo´s pressure increase
A 205 GTI with the pug 405 Turbo 16 engine
A Vauxhall Nova GTE / Opel Corsa GSI with the Kadett/Astra 2000-16v engine
A renault 5 GT Turbo with the Volvo 480 Turbo engine (with the 1800cc engine instead of the Volvo´s 1721cc)
Lets see if people are able to contribute more and put more pics, considering that the main variety of transformed hot-hatched exists in the UK as far as I know
