I read this post just now (a month later). Afrikaans is different from Dutch, but I can understand what you're saying. Reading your post out loud helped a lot.

I've thought about it and I can't think of a similar word in Dutch either. The only thing that comes close is when someone sits "op de bok". Which means he's in charge, or, when used in a context with cars, that he's driving. This also derived from horse carriages I think, but clearly means the opposite of 'riding shotgun'.

I really love the 360 spider F1, the sound is fantastic, the acceleration is great, and i had the luck to drive with someone in that car, who ones it.


but the 355 gts F1, had also a special place in my heart, because that was the first ferrari i ever drive with the owner of the car.


so these to are the ferrari's who have a special place in my heart
