Sorry, I didn't really see any ownage there either. While it was just an informal interview, Letterman makes statements with no evidence to back them up.

I agree with O'Riley on this one. The woman who lost her son in Iraq, it's sad, and she has a right to greive any way she wants. But using her son's death to validate calling terrorists "freedom fighters" is bullshit.

Just because someone you love, or your own child, dies in combat does not give any validity to the claim that terrorists are "freedom fighters".

Sorry, Letterman was way off base on this one.

There was no ownage? Letterman was just doing what liberals do best, cry bitch and moan without making a real case for anything. Letterman had the advantage of the conversation , and he knew it, because O'Reilly was on his show as a guest.
In the end, when the conversation started to get a little involved, it was apparent that Letterman knew he wasn't prepared for the counterattack that Bill was launching and he basically said it.
