19. my grandpa told me when he was a little boy back in the old country (germany pre ww2) that in winter you would piss on your hands and hold them close to the fire so you want get dry cracked skin,

its fairly facinating on fixing a case of the 'dizzies' ..... i however, have my own remedy that has never failed me (unless i want it out makes for a longer (sleepwise) night)

13. Thaw your brain!

Too much Chipwich too fast will freeze the brains of lesser men. As for you, press your tongue flat against the roof of your mouth, covering as much as you can. "Since the nerves in the roof of your mouth get extremely cold, your body thinks your brain is freezing, too," says Abo. "In compensating, it overheats, causing an ice-cream headache." The more pressure you apply to the roof of your mouth, the faster your headache will subside.

This used to happen to me, but I then discovered that if I drank a glass of water before starting to eat the big icecream, my head wouldn't hurt.

Pulling the skin around your adams apple does wonders. You can the pain drain away.
