that's just a risk you run when you use adhesives instead of welding or rivets. But due to the composite structure and the magnesium i think that the adhesive is the best way to do it.
Unfortunately, when you use adhesives, there is a chance that the glue itself is not mixed right. I am fairly sure that they are using an epoxy type glue, which requires a catlyst to start the setting process. I don't know for sure which type GM is using, but if you think about it, 30,000 vehicles is really nothing.
