a guy in this area, made a overclock to his p4 1.7ghz.

After 3 weeks without turning off, almost melted the tower with the temperature inside, about 1000º

I don't if it's true this story, has been told to me. I don't know if it is possible.

my 1.6 can oc to 2.5

Sorry, in the post I forgot to tell that the overclock that he made to his p4 1.7ghz was to 3.0ghz.

These guys are absolutely crazy. Who needs such power? And i´m sure it gets somehow damaged by these extreme temperatures... Although i would like to have a bit faster CPU than my poor 1Ghz ops:

WOW! 5,2<GHz.. This is what i call "clock rate"! pff.. Its 2.8 times more than mine!
