yep, George.

Main Street is also known as Ann Arbor/Saline road when you come right off the I-94 exit. The pictures were taken on Main Street between I-94 and Stadium (where the U of M big House is).

I think the real hood is shown in the AutoWeek article I posted.

A few years ago I got some pictures of the retro Mustang along the same stretch just as it was becoming public. Pre-production car not the NAIAS show car.

FYI: AutoWeek has a short article and large spy shots of a black Z06 or "SS" online.

We see test mules all the time in and around Ann Arbor (EPA testing center in town). Some of the big wigs for the auto industry live around here too. I used to stand in line next to Bill Ford (and his body guards) at Starbucks a few years back.

My pictures are posted on the AutoWeek on-line edition.

You would think they would of taken the time to lighten them a little before posting - like I did.

I guess the art department was in a rush. 8)

We have been had...........or so it seems.

My pictures did not have the foam flares, and look to be the first attempt at the carboard hood scoop.

It was fun while it lasted.

Now that it's all over I'll comment

The lack of manufacturers plates on the car was a cause for doubt.

I was thinking maybe an ugly SEMA entrant my Spectre or some other aftermarket bodywork manufacturer.
