Pikes Peak Escudo
reading a motor magazine, i came across this humorus letter sent into the magazine.
What happend to the 1996 Suzuki Pikes Peak Rally car? I know it was never tested for maxamum speed, which is disapointing, but does it still race?
REPLY:
It doesent race anymore because that was 8 years ago. Nor was it tested for top speed. It's a hillclimb car - short gearing, climbing ability - not a top speed car. Put that Playstation down.
just thought i should post it, found it intesting and humorus.

If they change the ratio of the gearbox they will have a lot of maximum speed! =P
In playstation i've never played with it I think

Yes and you can tune it to 1500 bhp (if i remember well) so it's undrivable !! On a road/track race, the F1 are miles away and on an offroad race, it's almost impossible to drive. But for the oval race, it has a good speed and it's almost possible to not touch anything else than the x button to accelerate it turns with the wall

yea its 1800bhp, and with that it doesnt neet to turn well, u just bounce off all the walls and they keep you going the right way most of the time. And then you rely in it accelerating to 200mph in 5 seconds. lol...

Although the worse thing about that Escudo Pike peak car is that it doesn't handle..But I found something that is heaps better than the Escudo...Mazda 787B...heheheh..

The 787B won the 1991 24 Hours of Le Mans. It is the only rotary-powered car and the only Japanese car to ever do this.

I heard that car's good for one of the endurance races in gt3, just put a rubber band around the accelerator, step away for 45 minutes, make a pit stop, do the same again and then you've won. You just ride the rail the whole way around an oval track.
