The fact that he is tired is normal for patiënts on ICU, when you're there you can't tell the difference between day and night. There is constant movement, noice everywhere, beeps, to much light, etc etc etc.
So don't worry to much about that.
If you want more details, ask the doctors they can answer your questions. Don't ask the nurses, our job doesn't allow us to give predictions or diagnoses.

Yeah, depending on where exactly the surgery was and how close to the spinal chord the doctors had to go, they would want him to be in a state of medically-induced paralysis so that he wouldn't move and inadvertently cause other serious problems or true permanent paralysis. At any rate, I'm sorry to hear all that has been going on, but it sounds like things are starting to look a bit better at this point. My thoughts are with you and your family. Just think...baby steps...baby steps...before you know it, he'll be the one mashing the gas pedal

Well guys it seems that the surgeon that my dad has is the best one in Europe for these kind of things. He's really the best in Europe, he's even proven it LOL with a certificate so at least he's in good hands...

Revalidation depends a lot of the willpower of your father and of the people around him. And a damn good fysiotherapist, my advice get one that wants to go ahead and not some sort of cute looking girl that is affraid of hurting people...

They're gonna operate him again next Wednesday.
