Not all that eco friendly either.. Plenty of gas cars arent far behind in fuel mileage and dont have the 500 lb gorilla in the room called a special battery.

Perhaps.. But I beg to differ on your take on why the car should suck so bad.. Having performance.. ok fine.. But there are plenty of examples of economy cars that are much more fun to drive. Toyota itself makes one called the Aygo. While BHP itself will suffer with eco focus, why is the suspension horrible? Or the rear visibility suck?
If the only source you want of reviews is professionals then I might as well review nothing.. as every car has been reviewed by someone by the time its available for test drive.
