How do you slow car with no brakes?
How do you slow your car with no brakes?
Easy, use the guard rail!
Setting: Nurburgring straight-away 2002
Car: Free use os a BMW "company" car
Options: Sunroof, NAV, Xenon, ...
Sound of a $40k car hitting metal, priceless
That's what the German's call it. The car's were provided by BMW to train us what to do incase your brakes die or there is a big accident ahead you want to avoid.
A temporary guardrail was set up on the straight at the Nurburgring. This was my first of three time doing it. FUN!!!!!!!

Only one question... Was that absolutely necessary? What was the point? And dont tell me it was to train someone. At least let it be to engineer the car for safety...

these cars are probably so worn down that they aren't safe anymore, so i guess it would be pretty dangerous driving these cars around
