If you're talking about which car is the best driver's car, I'd say the R8 of course, no doubt about that. And it should be for that kind of money.
Personally I'm no big fan of its styling, but as far as driving's concerned, I'd say the M3 and C6 are not in the same league.

I'd actually choose the M3 if it's meant as an everyday car, and I like rwd. But the comparison is kinda strange since the Audi is ~40.000€ more expensive than the other two.

The regular C6 and V8 M3 are pretty even in my eyes, minus the 2+2 seats of the M3.

It can be had for $20 grand less, and if you are willing to pay the same amount as the M3, the Z06 will blow the doors off of it, performance wise.

Pretty weird scoring... but I think it's a pretty decent comparison.

uhh, shouldnt they have at least made it the C6 Z06???? It really doesnt make sense to me that they wouldnt have included that car. Thats kinda like this: Lets compare the Audi R8, Z06 and BMW 335 sedan. Jeez. Or, lets look at the performance difference between the Audi A-4, M-3, and Z06.

The Z06 has a greater performance by far then the R-8 or the M-3 and it STILL costs a hella lot less.

Shit, I would spend more on a standard BMW 3 series sedan (well appointed) then I would on a regular C-6 coupe......and I'd take the Corvette every time over some standard BMW 3 series crap that every middle class banker who wants to pretend he's rich drives.

simple fact: When Top Gear tested the Z06 it was faster aroumd thier test track then a standard Pagani Zonda. In fact, the Z06 was faster at the track then almost anything they had driven short of things like the Carrera GT and such.......and all that for 60,000 bucks........you just cant beat that!!!

I've said it ounce and I'll say it again: I went down to the Porsche stealership to look at Cayman's. They were trying to sell well appointed Cayman S's for about $10,000 more then the Chevy dealership down the street was selling a Z06 for. Thats just NUTS considering the Cayman S doesnt offer anywhere near the performance.......sheesh.

umm...first of all a Z06 is $80,000. dunno where you are getting $60k from....2nd of all, the Cayman S can be had for $59k. I know because i was at the dealership last week, debating on whether to buy one.
First off, you are both wrong, a 2008 C6 Z06 is as follows
Z06 2dr Hatchback (7.0L 8cyl 6M) $70,175 15/24 MPG 505 hp
MSRP base options 1LZ i believe.

If I were you, Id 100% go for that Cayman S.... sport chrono not nessiary for the car..... a GPS data logger is a far better investement

What do they mean by "body"? Just checked out the new M3 again yesterday, and I think it looks so dull... The R8 looks more exciting IMO.

meh, truth be told, I wouldn't choose any of those three.

They may as well include the CLK63. I think the Mercedes V8 is worth mentioning.
