They took away the one thing that I really liked about the E90, it's front end, specifically the headlights.

Should have really swapped the tail lights instead :bah:

I like it, but as many of you I am (still) not sure about the rear lights. Why did BMW not fit the rear lights of their WTCC racer?

I am sure the m3 coupe would be much more popular than this M3 sedan, just like with the E36 M3. The M3 sedan will probably be the car for the enthusiasts who do not want to be identified with the machos who buy the coupe and cabrio.

If you are talking about the 320iS race car, actually all European models have that type of taillight. It is just in US that runs the red turn signal corners.

You are right though, the smoke top second looks a lot better.

Nop, in Europe all the 3-Series have the same rear lights that the M3 in the pictures. IIRC if you want those rear lights you have to py for them.

Hmm, okay, I stand corrected. I thought it was a Euro thing, definitely people here has been added them on afterwards.

I think I'd rather take a 4-door RS4 or the C63 over this new E90 M3
I completely agree with you dani... except for the last part
Í'd still have this E90 M3 over the RS4 and C63 AMG. In this case, character is more important to me than looks

Thanks for the vid Blue8!

IMHO It looks better than both RS4 and C63 AMG..I just which It had more torque, as the same for both M5 and M6

The engine is awesome I know..but I prefer the hudge torque from AMG engines than the hight revvs from ///M's .

We were disappointed to see that BMW launched the new M3 Sedan with only the six-speed manual gearbox when we know that there’s likely to be a new dual-clutch gearbox in the works. We now have confirmation that a seven-speed gearbox is planned for the M3 Sedan and even have the final gear ratios thanks to official documents from BMW.

There’s no mention of any release date or in fact if this is for a dual-clutch gearbox but it’s expected that BMW’s M3 will receive the innovative gearbox design eventually. We originally predicted that BMW would launch it in the new M3 four-door but, according to AutoTelegraaf, officials may wait until sales of the conventional manual cars start to slow.

BMW still has to unveil the Cabrio and Touring versions of the M3, so the launch of the dual-clutch box may coincide with either of these.

It looks really good to me, but I think they should kept the E90 front. It will more difficult to see the differences... I just hope they won't use the coupe front in all the sedan versions....

As for the rear ligths... it would look way better with those red/white ones. I've always thought they would put those in every versions, just like they did in the previous models, but I guess not. I really don't undestand this guys!!
