So it's opened!

<--------- VIDEO!!!

BMW Welt -- the new BMW experience and delivery centre -- opens its doors to the public. Located next to the plant, the BMW Group headquarters and the BMW museum, the BMW Welt is a new attraction for the company and the city of Munich. Here, BMW will take the dialogue between customers, visitors and the brand to a new dimension. 850.000 visitors are expected at the venue each year, 45.000 of them to collect their brand new BMW.

2008 JWmeet ? Nice place to visit!

Exactly what I thought. Yeah for sure it's a nice futuristic building...but where are the historic models ? I don't want to see only the ugly current BMW models line-up, I want to see those mythical BMW models from the 30' to 90' era.

I was on E90 post reading a members experiences getting his new E92 on an ED trip. It seems pretty damn cool; they even put your car on a rotating piece of machinery as if it were in a show room! How cool is that!

So I'm assuming that BMW Welt is not only for people collecting their cars through ED, but for locals as well?
