lol it DOES matter what kinda music u listen to because some music needs diff things then others
i have 2 15s and i have not heard 2 10s that sound like my 15s
theres also something called SPL which is one reason for having large subs..some people like me like to feel the beat to me the larger subs have a much fuller sound to them u don't have to strain my 15s as bad as u do my friends 12s
if u want to do SLP comp and thats it then ud need to get a nice sub with HUGE excursion and probably port the box that will give u the best SPL.(sound pressure level which is what sound boils down to)
if u get something like 2 15s vrs 2 10s u will have to contend with travel alot more..my 15s can be heard more then a few blocks away with the windows down which is how i drive so if u are worried about pissing people off or police hastling u u might want to stick to 10s
if u want SQ over SPL then u need to find a sub that does that for u. something like a 12w3v2 awesome SQ with good SPL but they are very picky
if u are serious about what u listen to u cant just ask..what sounds best or what should i buy and u cant just walk into bestbuy and walk out with a lighter wallet
