TVR are quick, look good, and cheap, but unfortunately reliability is sacrificed. I dont really know about the newest ones, but i got a ride in a fathers friends cerbera 4.5 a few years ago, the door release on one side wasnt working, we had to bumpstart it and it was running like a pig, as it was near to the next service.
Ruined a dream IMO and the owner said the same, it had bin a childhood dream for him to own one and when he did, it had its shortcomings, he sold it shortly afterwards.
The new tuscans do sound fappin awsome tho!!!!! Saw one the other day absolutely raggin it in 1st and 2nd off the lights then stop at the next ones, beautifull pop and bang on the over run!!

I heard TVRs are EXTREMELY unreliable. Maybe it's just a bad rumor, though.

TVR's are great cars; but they do still have their flaws. You will spend more time repairing it than driving it, you will be forever called Trevor and accused of having a small manhood and have no chance of surviving a crash. Having said that, they are sublimely good looking, go like stink and have the most aggressive and evocative names of all manufacturers!!

I think the Dauer 962 is one of the most under-rated cars made...and while we are on this topic of reliability I have heard that Ferraris can be somewhat unreliable. I know someone who has a 575M and they say it is always having to have something on it fixed...is there anyone who knows more about their reliability?
