Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Roadster Revealed

The very first build slot for this new car, to be built in Spring 2009, will be auctioned the next day at the renown Gooding auction at the Equestrian Center at Pebble Beach.

I don't really see the point of a roofless version. It's not as it it gives off such an amazing noise that you would want the roof gone to enjoy it more, and at the high speeds that the Veyron is designed to do, the wind buffeting must be terrible. Plus, I would be surprised if the top speed wasn't lowered for this version. I absolutely love the Veyron, but someone could do a lot better if they were looking for an exclusive, open-top luxury GT.

All VW Veyrons are for poseurs. It's not a competition car, not built for that. And there's no place but a few racetracks in the world where you can legally approach its top speed, just as well as there's no need for its acceleration in practice. And it's seriously heavy.
99.9%+ of the owners will only ever use this car to show everyone they have a disposable megabuck, that and just that.

I rather like that flat silver faux polished metal look. The targa look is very nice on it.
Evo9 - Bugatti is working on a stripped out rack version of the Veyron.

Okay... So it comes with a removable roof panel, but it's obviously too big and has to be left at home. But it comes with an emergency "umbrella" roof that comes in the "trunk" that you can use as long as you're not going faster than 81 miles per hour.
I hate half done roadsters. It should be full off, or full on. Koenigsegg is fine since in only comes in one body type.
