Default GT3 RS 4.0 top speed

Check out what the tach is showing when the driver stops accelerating :

333 km/h = 207 mph (yes, indicated)

Braking from 300 km/h (186 mph) - 0, it averaged over 1.3g

Very impressive! Wasn't the Veyron's peak decel. at 1.6 G from 253 MPH with the air brake fully deployed?

Tyres sure have come a long way.

I bet if cars of yesterday are restested wearing todays tyres we will be shocked at just how good they are/where.

Yes, I believe that is correct. However, this averaged >1.3g all the way from 186 mph-0.

The Veyron would probably need 25" wheels to have brakes that could do that (because of the weight/kinetic energy).
