if i had to choose between impreza and subaru i would choose the subaru because at the evo the interior looks like and feels like shit..instead the subaru it looks great it doesn't seem that you have lost your money or something else..

That might be a tough choice because the impreza and the subaru are the same thing there bud.

Ill take the evo anyday. I remember watching a top gear "evo vs sti" programme and the evo just trashes the sti around the circuit and the times were quite far apart. This might be due to the evo being a fq330 version but i reckon it was down to the cars handling as well. The sti had understeer through corners whereas the evo was almost perfect through the corners. Its 4wd system is one of the best in the world, up there with the hummers. And the looks of it, it looks so much more muscular and intimidating in real life. You can almost hear it shout "YOU WANT A PIECE OF ME !?"

mmmm.,
Although I really like that rumbling sound of Scooby's boxer engine I'll choose the Mitsubishi EVO any time of day :fadein:

WRX tends to be smoother, more driveable around town, deep growl boxer noise and more forgiving at the limit but dynamically a bit down on Evo as it tends to understeer more. While the evo is rough edge machinery with more oversteery character, can be a little spooky at the limits but given the right skills and techniques, it should have the upper hand in the handling department. Given choice, I'll take the WRX for 'learning' experience and as day-2-day car but few years down the road will make a downpayment for Evo VIII FQ300 to further enjoy the art of driving.

I'd take a Scooby, I have loved it ever since I started playing Colin McRae on my PC.

Its one of those questions that seems to have been around since the dawn of time, but it still divides people. They are both superb new-school "rally slags" and I love them both. I do have to say that I prefer the interior and the noise of the Impreza, but the more aggresive looks and ride of the Evo would make it my choice..

it's a very difficult choice. I will probably prefer the impreza spec C that EVO tested last month in the TCOTY. It destroy the EvoVIII Fq-300.
