Okok, understood.. in that case, we used it only once... and of course it's something you have to avoid.. once or twice is ok, but no more... it's a huge amount of shit that goes into the body with it 
The ones that was available back then had to be taken in the following 48 hours I think

Expensive.. a bit yes, but not really.. I mean.. you usually pay every 6 months and here it is like 90 USD.. so less than 200 USD / year... not that terrible and if you plan to have lot of sex, condoms will cost more
Side effects.. well.. beeing hormones, you can't really go on 60 years , but now the new ones are quite light...
Anyway, before taking pills the girl always needs to be visited by her doctor and only him can give her the go

you could have more than one side effect, but they're dissapearing just like the hormone qty in those pills.
some side effects could be (have in mind, could be) acne, zits, pimples, what ever you call them
weight gain. I once saw a girl who had headaches, but only one or two each day and she said they hurted like hell.
but I would choose the inyected birth control. A little inyection every month and you don't have to worry again for another month. So you wont have the question 90% of guys make to their girlfriends already when they're into the action: did you take the pill?sure? :shock:
birth pills are 99% fool proof, but have that disadvantage of taking them each day, and don't be an a-hole by not worrying and thinking your gfriend will take them all.
