Default C32 or STi or 350z? *changed*

i'm really interested into getting a 'race' car now, something like a c32 or else a sti...which car do you guys think would be a better track car!? the c32 is known for bad rear brakes but the brakes aren't a problem, it can be swapped...although yes i'm in love with the sti, the c32 gives a much better name cause its a benz, plus comfort is an issue also, leather interior versus the sti bucket seats and cloth interior!? the down side with and mb though is the parts part, the shit is freakin expensive, just to get some more power like lets say 50 hp, will probably cost me 4 grand while in some other car like the sti, with 1-2 grand i can get more hp than 50...

I think the c32 its all about class and having the Mercedes quality in your ass, meanwhile you have an STI that makes driving a lot of fun and with 4 grand you get an STI to flyy, its between fun and class, you decide...

I'd take the STI.
It's comparring apples and oranges.
The STI is a waaaaaay better track car. No question about it.

If you want both the comfort and a good track car , take the M3.

Evo 8 has better handling than the Sti. Why don't you get a TT , then you can TT it (repeat it real fast) and show it off to TT Comfy interior + bad ass shifty thing + AWD + 3.2L Twin-turbo + nice design as long as you don't put a wing on it (lip is good). Stylish ride and good performance. 8) Seriously that would be the best.

If you want a sport car for the track the C32 is for sure completely wrong, so, between the two, STi all the way!

Yeah sti all the way, although if your worrying about comfort and class on a track day then as komotar and budagboy2 said try an m3. Scoobys have a tendancy to understeer when pushed hard on a track also whilst m3's are real wheel drive so a bit more fun Either way if i had the option id never buy a c32 for track days

What are you, a poseur ? Are you driving the car for yourself, or thatothers can look at the logo's on your car

The C32 is as far from a race car as the Corvette is from a shopping cart.
It has an automatic, is heavy, fully loaded, comfortable, WTF ? The STi in comparison is a totally different car...in a different price class...

First figure out what you want, this comparison is complete BS.

Lotus: for fuk sake, i'm just askin for an opinion from fellow members...true the two cars are in different classes, but i was comapring them because i like both of them and can't decide which one to go for...oh btw, i like the c32 for the comfort and the classiness dats why i'm tryin to be a fukin 'poseur'...

the c32 prices are gonna drop indefinitely within the next couple of months because of the new c55 which is coming out soon...thus a c32 would most likely be droppin down to a brand new sti level...i thought i would compare the two because they both are 4 door sedans and i just love the two...i've researched on modding the c32, for 4 gs i can get around 400 bhp, which i think will pull away from quite a few cars...as i said before though, its fukin expensive for fixin MBs, that's why the suby is in my interest, 4WD, nice and easy to mod and fix, everyone probably has parts for it nowadays, you get the idea...

oh btw, the M3 is out of the question cause my family hates it, cuz 3 out of 6 uncles of mine got killed driving a bimmer(540, M3, 330)...as for the TT, i'm sorry guys, i really don't like the look of it, it reminds me of a turtle, the sc430 does the same thing to me also...i guess it might aswell be the STI, or else!? 350z?
