Issues with XP Pro.......
I have just formatted my HD and installed XP Pro...
1)At the moment, I cannot move any folders around my desktop, I click to move them, but they don't follow! It worked a couple of hours ago, and I have not changed any settings. Is there a 'lock' on the desktop??
2)My internet connection is a bit odd. There seems to be a time out function working while using Explorer. I can look at sites fir around 5-10mins, then the connection dies on me. It is back up in another 5 mins, pattern keep repeating. Funny thing is, I have had a 600mb d/l going for an hour or so, and that seems fine! (This time out thing was happening before I started the d/l)
3)Sometime I click and double click a link, but explorer does not send me there! This is not all the time, but certain links are more problematic than others!
Any help much appreciated.
p.s my computer is running a lot faster now that I have sorted it out after the virus!
