The Holly Grail

For those of you who know what indeed the holly grail is, do you think that it really exists or infact do you think that it a chalice or do you think it is much more than that. I am currently reading the da vinci code, and i am wondering how much truth in this novel. I havnt reached the end of the book yet, however, i am about 50 pages away.
I know there is a topic about the book, although i want to know more than the book reveals

So what i want to hear is your opinion on this subject
