Thats definately a good thing, Appilia looked like they were going downhill in terms of their financial situation, and also they were going to pul out of most of their racing. This should hopefully keep them going for a while

No, they don't. Italian bikes are inferior to Japanese bikes when it comes to comfort and build quality.

So what? It's the sheer beauty and performance that matters. Ducati's like the Ferrari of the bike world. Speaking of which, Ducati buying Aprilia will be like Ferrari buying Lamborghini

Jap bikes also outperform them. Did I mention you get a soar back after riding a Ducati for more than a half an hour? They look good, and that's about it. 0X

yeah accept Italian bikes take the corners way better than Japanese bikes do. My cousin raced a Kawasaki for about 2 years and switched to Ducati because he found they were much easier to handle through the corners. And Italian bikes are definitely way more beautiful to look at and are a much more pure form of bike. They use much better parts on their bikes aswell.

The world of motorcycles is big enough for many tastes and forms. Japanese bikes are usually better built. So what? I have a BMW R1100S and I think this one is much better built than my previous japs. And a Harley? And a Triumph? I don't know, I don't care. I want different manufacturers, with different histories and different designs and different evertything. I didn't have problems with my back when I was younger. Now I ride a BMW. I am still in love with a Ducati Monster. Maybe in the future. BUT I WANT THEM TO EXIST! See the new Benellis? I want diversity. In the future I don't want to have my money in the only bank, to buy a car from one manufacturer and only one motorcycle factory.

I prefer the Italian bikes to the Jap ones.

Ok, the jap ones are best build but the artesanal work, and the sound of an italian machine lasts for years

Jap bikes may be more reliable and faster, but dukes have better chassis - why do you think there's so many in WSB?? Italian bikes have way more style and have soul, unlike jap bikes. If i was gonna get a bike, i'd get a ducati everytime, even if they're not as fast as jap bikes.
