Last week I emailed this gurl I know I could have been exclusive with a couple of years ago, but I had a gf and she had a bf so I never put the work in.

We did and do email every month or so just to mull over things, but last week I decided to start the romantic ball rolling again since I'm recently single. So I emailed her a message that asked her one blasee' question and the others were:

Do you like strawberries and Champagne?

and

Do you believe in second chances?

To which she responded....

"This sounds like a pick up line"

and

"depends on what the second chance is about"

Now I'm not entirely stupid, I know this doesn't sound very good. But I am interested in her, and I was wondering if this might be some kind of test...?

I was thinking about answering back in a "... pick up line? you wish kind of way..."

But what do you think I should do?

Listen guys, I'm a bouncer at a bar. I work 7 nights a week and I meet thousands of people per week. I've talked to so many women about situations just like this and they almost all say the same thing: be honest.

It sounds stupid, but it works. Level with her, don't feed her bullshit because she'll know its bullshit.

I say to tell her how you feel but be honest, if worse comes to worst you might still be friends and in the future you might get another chance, but if you try to bullshit her you could ruin the friendship and any chances there may have been of getting together with her.
