those are some seriously shitty pictures from the seller. you'd think someone dealing in cars this rare would have the $$ for a decent camera

that is pretty damned crazy to put that on eBay though, maybe it was hte request of the car's owner?

There is a CLKGTR in Florida in colleciton - it appeared on the Racingflix once.

This guys posted pics of a friends dad's collection. German drug company founder/former executive.

This gents colleciton was insaen - included 360's, F50.s Macca F1, XJ220, CLKGTR, F40's ad a bunch of other insane vars - all stoed in this canvas and sheet metal shop outside the mansion..

Besides - if it's the only one in the US - how come there is another in the background? (doesn't appear to be a refleciton...

RC45, any chance that that drug company also produce viagra??
Man, I tell ya, if I had so many extoics in a canvas at my backyard, I will get a hardon 24/7 LOL!!

About the E-bay bid, I kinda feel sad that after 2 years, that car is still not being driven at all. Understandable, yet sad.

If you wanna get technical the one in the background isn't a CLK-GTR, it is in fact the Mercedes CLR race car which competed at LeMans until Peter Dumbreck had his flip in spectacular fashion going over a small crest on the course, at which point Mercedes pulled the cars from the race. I guess the seller is almost right about the car being the only CLK-GTR in the US...almost...but not quite, as I've seen pictures of a coupe in the US...whether or not it's the only roadster....that's a good question.

Does anyone have a clue which celebrity owns this car...the site mentions that it is a famous musician who owns it. He should drive his cars more often....

Here's a question. This, an Enzo or a McLaren F1.
