Definitely, what a big contrast........although the lotus lada would have been more beautiful IMO if the car were totally black

Lotus Lada is fantastic, the others show signs of some serious drug abuse by their owners, lol. The Lotus Lada was commissioned by Top Gear to prove you could turn any shitheap into something desirable. They took some guy's Lada, fitted a tuned Fiat twin cam engine, gave the chassis a through work out and painted it in that colour scheme. you should be able to find it to download off Kazaa.

Anyway....once the Lada has some mechanical pieces such as the engine, transmission,.....which originally comes from the old Fiat Lancia, ..such as the fiat 124, 131.., and since its not difficult to get some good FIAT engine to that Lada, the Lotus technical staff decided to put the 2000 engine that comes from the FIAT 131, and be set this engine by the lotus technicians...i think that they put the 131 Abarth transmission, brakes and suspension in order to get the car balanced overall.....

Just because you share parts with a Lada doesn't mean the car has to be bad.....

SEAT 124, also based on the Fiat.
