Default Girona in flames!!

Shit!! My city, Girona, is under a very strong wind from the north and a fire has begun this afternoon...and the neighborhood next to mine has been dislodged by the police and I can see very clearly the flames through my window...shit!! If I have a digicam i'll send you a pic...it's horrible...
Because the night has come and the wind is very very strong planes can't fly and only trucks can access to the place but they can't extinguish the fire....

Shit! Crossing my fingers, hoping the wind will change or stop, so maybe firefighters will be able to deal with it quickly!

Shit! I hope the wind changes direction and dies so that they can contain that fire. Good luck man, stay safe!

hopefully a firebreak will be created to keep the fire from jumping into the city.

The winds really sound like bad news. hopefully they die down a little so that they can fight the fire.

good luck bro, everyone here is hoping for the best outcome for ya.

Thanks to everybody...
The main problem is the wind...it's from the north, it's called tramuntana, and it's about 100 km so it's very very difficult to fight against the fire in this conditions and according to the predictions the wind doesn't seem to diminish...

I've thought about it but luckily it seems that the fire has gone away from my house...not a lot but enough to feel safe.

you should probably leave the area just to be sure.

You never know the wind might change direction suddenly

Good luck

I know how you feel dude, I live in oz, and not far from a national park. We had a fire scare a few years ago. Even when its not that close, its still scary!
