I need some help... :(

[Chaos in 1983!]

Anyone into Linux here? I have this assignment for class and I need to do a few things with LDAP, but I have absolutely no idea on how to use Linux...I installed RedHat 8 on my PC last night, found a couple of guides on the net...but I can't figure it out

This is what I have to do:
-Install a OpenLDAP server
-Allow user creation, replacement of /etc/password/ and /etc/shadow
-Install a graphic admin interface(phpldapadmin)
-Use LDAP as a public address book
-Configure another Linux PC that'll authenticato onto the LDAP server...


Please help...I'm completely lost...

what do you need to know exactly ?

I mean if you have absolutely no knowledge of linux then yuo really are going to have fun..
