The new 4.0 V8 with 400hp. Not 100% sure tough, but close.

er..... V6? are you quite sure the M3 has a V6? 
I tend to agree with you Nuno, there is space for a V8 in the engine bay (as Hartge have proved) so i think they'll stuff the rumoured 400bhp V8 in there... Appetising

looks the engine will be fine. but I don't like how the car looks at all. the front of Z3 was much more agressive and nice...

I disagree. The Z4 on a whole is a more brutish looking car than the Z3
