MTV's Pimp My Ride = What do YOU think?
I got two words to describe the show...
Ghetto Tuning
It sucks, IMO, and shows why so many people are encouraged to rice cars and all. All bling, which in the end, amounts to nothing. TV-wise, it's a boring show, it encourages the wrong kind of car tuning, which in turn, is slowly rotting the minds young would-be car nuts.
I remember reading a letter in a UK magazine in which the authour drove his cousin's Peugeot 206 which was completely riced (speakers, turbochargers, and all), and when he was driving he noticed how all the tweaking affected the way the car drove in such a terrible way that he just had to ask his cousin:
"How do you drive around the understeer?"
To which he replied:
"The what-steer?"
