These are the first pictures i've ever took of my car, it's a 2003 Jazz Blue 20th Anniversary Edition GTi #176 of 4000. I've owned it for about a year. If you have any questions go ahead and ask. The Silver Jetta/Bora is my friends car, we did a little photo shoot cause we were bored.

Nice car. I like those Golf GTis.

A lad up the road had a greeny metallic (pistachio) coloured one. It was quite modified, from what I could tell by looking at it.

Any mods? Any planned? Check the link in my sig, BSR make plug-in tuning software for your VAG 1.8T motor. Probably give you 20% more power and torque for around 500 bucks...

I've got the APR 93octane chip, diverter valve, n75 valve(adds 3lbs. of boost), cold air, and 2.5 turbo back with is now a straight dump out of the downpipe and HID's in projector housings. I'm afraid to use a vag com because i'de probably screw the air/fuel ratio and blow my engine.

One suggestion:
Borbet Type T's. They are a tad played out in the VW world, but they look hot damnit!

Yeah it's the one you can switch off, but only got the 93 octane one so i can't switch to stock mode cause that was another $200. But i really want to get a set of these, they almost look like the stock wheels but are an inch wider. Thanks for the compliments!

beautiful car mate, I really like it.....here they are about the same price as a WRX of the same year - which is what I want to get

Which transmission do you have in yours? Any idea how much power it is making with the mods you have done?

Thanks guys, it has a 6 speed manual mated to the front wheels, i'm estimating the power to be about 225hp and 260lbs/ft. of torque. It's spikes at 18-19psi.

Whats the car like to drive, any probs with turbo lag?

Turbo lag is an issue in my opinion. You've got to feather the clutch at 2700rpm's or it'll bog, but once it gets going it seems like the torque never ends and i love it for that. I run with Evo's from a roll, and thats about it. haha It's amazing on the highway, it's an inexpensive autobahn car. It also turns good enough to still keep me entertained after owning it for a year.

BTW have you heard of DUBWerks in Libertyville? they specialize in VW/Audi's. My buddy is have them do some work on his 2.0(dubbed the 2.slow) he plans on turbo charging very soon.

We took the pics at Caldwell Woods, off of Devon and Milwaukee. Yeah i've heard of dubwerks but havn't taken the trip out there. I've been trying to stick to APR products which they don't sell

so i gotta go to GRD in Naperville. And the Jetta is my friends, he helped me put the dump on. Does anyone know what i can put between the metal mount and the exhaust dump so they won't rattle against each other? It has to be soft and non flammable. Thanks for any help.
