Default Alfa Romeo GTV TB vs Fiat Coupe 20V Turbo Plus...

Ok guys tell me what you think. We'r dealing with 2 cars that are more or less equal. Both have killer looks, brutal performances, same prices. If you were to buy one of these 2 which one would it be?..

On the contrary, Id go for the Fiat...although the Alfa is more beautiful and it has a more attractive interior, my vote goes for the fiat simply because i love the turbo engines, and the Fiat Coupe Turbo 20v performs better than its anthecesor (the 193 bhp 2.0 litre turbo engine; the same engine as the Integrale); furthermore, as far as i heard from some sources, the 5 cilinder turbo engine has even a more punching response when the turbo works. Finally, the fiat has a shorter wheelbase (more fun in twisty roads as a result) and less weight, which makes for me a much easier choice

However either of them offer some great fun (much more than the current cars average) and the both of them wont dissapoint you

The Alfa, tough the Fiat is also a great car.

But the Alfa looks better and besides it has a nice V6 under the bonnet.

Shame that cars like these aren't made anymore...

Ford Capri the GTV TB has the V6 with a turbocharger(TB=Turbo Benzina). As far as Im concerned I really cant decide. Im a dedicated Alfista but the Fiat Coupe is a briliant model.. My girlfriend's father wants to buy one of these models(he is also a a dedicated Alfista, he has a fully restored Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA Junior and a GTV6)and we r on the search... Both cars here in Greece cost around 17k-20k euros... Very expensive if you consider that theyr quite old models, especially the Coupe..

Following on from what Mr Vercetti said, the variant we're considering here is a 2.0 V6 Turbo, 190hp.

I'd go for the Alfa every time - I really don't like the looks of the Fiat but as you say it is a great car to drive. Have you considered the GTV spider, is that much more euros than the coupe?

That may be, but the car in the picture is a 3.0L V6, not the 2.0 Turbo.

I'd go with the Alfa, of course i'm very biased, but he'll definetely enjoy it more, even in 2 liter T Spark version.

You sure about that? I was under the impression that it was a last hurrah for the 3.0 before the 3.2 came on stream. I remember pretty clearly when it got released, and I've got several magazine articles that have that bodykit with the rear wing and 3.0 engines.

The model you have pictured, unless I'm mistaken is an Alfa Romeo GTV Cup...and was only offered with the 3.0 V6. (219bhp if memory serves)

Yeap Im sure. That bodykit was first available with the release of the TB. It wasnt offered as default with the TB though.. What was offered as default was the rear wing. At least that was the case inEurope..
