What attracted you to your current true love...???
Car Love that is...
What single image, event, taste, smell sight causes you to still think of your car the way you did when you first saw/heard/smelled it and said "I have got to have one of those...!!!!"
This is what did it for me:
When I saw this image I fell in love. Coupled with the go faster hardware it is a pure bliss.
I have yet to see an image/rendering of the C6 Z06 that invokes the same feeling that this image does.
So - let's hear about it - what get's your knees weak about your automotive true love?

50:50 weight distribution. Plus, my dad gave it to me, so that kinda helped.

For me it was when I saw an W 210 E55 Brabus driving during summer veryyy slowwww in front of me, I almost fainted.
Still sends shivers down my spine
(edit) due to RC post: Well my love for the E55 came partially true as I bought a diesel E class Not quite the same, but hey, I'm getting there

I don't remember if it was the fact that i got her running myself, or the sound of the engine idling with open headers with the occasional throttle snap
But once i got her new struts all the way around, and was really able to hammer on it, the poison was in my veins I've been hooked on Z cars ever since

for me ill talk about my sold car since its sold, but what attracted it to me was the passion my dad had for it, i was like why does he like it so much, and he started modding it so i started getting into it, but what i really think made it was that my dads "car friends" were all getting them and modding them and stuff so i dont know it just made it feel important, and me

Ferrari 550, one of my all time favorties, car that made me fall in love with Ferrari.
I fell in love with it in NFS3, I just never seen a car that looked so damn elegant and was so damn fast.......I remeber from previous NFS titles the fast cars were the radical looking things like GT90, Macca, Diablo, but here is a car that looks simple and goes.........yeah I got it from a game

I hadn't intended the topic to be "fanatasy lovers"... --- but more the "reality" you wakeup to in the drive way every morning..
Fantasy wise I have the F40 to keep me company in my memories.

well I have accepted that I drive a Thunderbird and it's actually a very nice car to cruise in and it does have the V8 so I can take a fair amount of cars out there with it. And when I graduate from College I get a nice little bank so I'm not going to go out and buy a Corvette unless it's a Z06 and I wouldn't be able to afford that and get a house etc... so I'll go for the next best thing a Cobra.

That was the thing that attracted me to the Z cars. Nothing fantasy about it
