E90 M3 pic from Car and Driver
More like a mini M6.

That doesnīt look too good, itīs too simple...there is nothing going on that excites me...this would be ok for the coupe, but not the M3...

Damn, I knew it, they couldn't make the new M3 as nice as the previous one with that shell...
Don't get me wrong, the front is very nive, but just cover that bit up with your hand and only look at the back. It's like they've put some 13 inch wheels under it, and the trunk ends weird...
If you look at an E46 M3 with 19inch wheels, that looks sporty. Like a racecar the top of the wheels are close to the highest point of the chassis above it. That means: low centre of gravity => it looks like a sportscar
I'm no car technician, but that's my oppinion.

The rear doesn't look right, it's too heavy.

This one is really ugly  Just a small M6, nothing more, nothing less. Nothing exciting. Only wheels are worth seeing. Sorry for you, BMW

chaos is right.. this would be good as a regular 3 series coupe but not the M3.. and the rear boot looks like it has the 7-series' ass..

Hmm, I think BMW won't let it like that...a Photoshop of course...but the car will end up better....it's like the doors were erased...or welded...and in that angle, the rear wheels look MUCH smaller than the front wheels....

Like most members, this one does not excite me, not like all the previous models, each one of them had more focused looks.
The front is ok, but then it goes downhill
But the engine is going to be great and same for handling, so maybe we can look past its uglyness.

C&D has made mistakes with predicting future models from spy photos and such ... perhaps this is a 3 series with some kind of sports package, because it just looks too tame for an M3 ... I must say it does not look bad, of course the current M3 is a thousand times better looking, but then again, the current M3 is a beautiful car and still retains the straight 6 that will be gone in the next M3, too bad ... let's hope this is not the real new M3 and that the real one will have a wider stance

When will these car companies ABANDON the "family" look.
You don't need it - it is great when each model has it's own unique touches.
Even if this photochop is not representative of the "real deal" - it is continuing a very disappointing trend for BMW.
