Default Perth - DB9 Volante, Flying Spur, 997's, SL55, 3200....

After a couple of topics dedicated to rides I got its back to some normal sightings this time.

First off is a DB9 Volante at the dealer - nice, but I still prefer the Coupe.

As I was arriving at the dealer a customer was leaving in this sexy blue 997 S

SL55 – not a fan of it with those wheels I have to say. The owner already has an F360 and a F430 on order, which is due to arrive in 4 months.

Another CLS500 – black is great on it! There were so many damn reflections that it made it very difficult to take decent pics. :bah:

Maserati 3200GT, never get tired of looking at those tailights.

BMW E46 - I used my full 12x optical zoom to get this close from across the street.

An unsual colour for a Jaguar XK8….but kinda cool.

Toyota Supra....in a nice location (well the 3rd pic makes it look like that anyway).

Al, you should have told me you were in Perth – could’ve met up.
EDIT: I don't think this is an 'exotic' or something, the pic is here because of its number plate.

Then I was driving past the Porsche/Bentley dealer when this caught my eye parked on the street. The first time I have seen the Flying Spur, and still with the GB plates on it.
However after only 2 pics a guy came out and told me to stop - and then they moved the car undercover out of my sight. :bah:

Another fresh off the ship - Conti GT:

Since I had already stopped I went to see what Porsches were around....

996 C4S Cabrio:

996 GT3 - looks great in black (shame the light was so bad meaning no more pics of it)

997 S Cabrio

then a 997 S in the service area - quickly took a couple of pics since I probably shouldn't have been there. ops:

And what a way to finish – how cool is this BMW? :x

Some fine sightings and some great pictures

The Flying Spur sighting is a very rare one! Only the third I see, spotted on the road! BTW; It's Continental Flying Spur: The Flying Spur was a Rolls

Thank you dingo!

Nice DB9 Volante.... not seen many pics with the hood up, so thanks a load

The Volkswagen Continental Flying Spur looks even less impressive now  What a fucking sell out. A Phaeton for £60k is as well equipped (and as quick) for half the price. And it will be much more exclusive than the million or so Conti Flying Spurs they will no doubt build

not sure if your joking or not - but the point of that pic was because the number plate is 'AL 123' (i.e. the same as one of our members).

I saw a bently GT the other day that was kind of that blue in the pictures, but it was more midnight blue. looks horrible... Yours were more metallic, which looks much better.

I didn't notice either ops:

I'm sure AL wouldn't be seen in anything but his little red mini though

well I have edited the first post, so others don't think that I believe a Smart to be something special.

I agree, not really impressed by it at all - just looks akward too.

Really nice sightings, Dingo! Great you could catch the ContiFS, though I'm not that impressed by its appearance. Too bad they stopped you from taking pics of it. The colour of that ContiGT is not that usual, as is the white XK8. And I love the DB9 Volante pics. The polarizing effect really shows of

And without a doubt I love the 3200 GT pics. Those taillights are just so sexy!

Btw, the black F430 you requested will arrive within the next few days

Excellent - I will be on the lookout for it. (wouldn't it be funny if I actually did see one... )
