Default ABC News anchor Peter Jennings dies at 67

Very sad news. My dad died from cancer at almost the same age. R.I.P. Peter....

"NEW YORK - Peter Jennings, the suave, Canadian-born broadcaster who delivered the news to Americans each night in five separate decades, died Sunday. He was 67.

Jennings, who announced in April that he had lung cancer, died at his New York home, ABC News President David Westin said."

Yeah I was shocked and saddened to see he died so suddenly. He must have been quite the smoker. RIP Mr. Jennings!

Yeah, definitely. I liked him a lot . That's too bad, I was hoping that he'll fight his way back.

i did download a report by him.

i must say it was truly one of the best pieces of journalism i have ever seen.
took a very fair and unbiased stance on what he was reporting on.

i only saw one thing he reported on and i was quite impressed.

It is a sad day indeed, I remember calling him Petoh Jenninks as a young 'un and I've always liked his reporting style and sort of friendly persona. He was even pretty glib when the opportunity presented itself. The news is never going to be the same. RIP Peter.
