aw crap that sucks...was the ferrari trying to overtake the truck on the right hand side or was the truck driver just too obsessed by the ferrari to look where he was going?

You can tell the truck try to avoid the car too, so it must be the Ferrari cutting in very quickly. If it were any slower, he would have enough time to pull back to his own lane.
