Default IAA : 3xMaybach, SLR + 996 TT, GT2-style,997 ...

Yesterday at the IAA in Frankfurt I saw those cars, remember MB's VIP cars in Geneva ? They did exactly the same there ! Both SLR had actually different plates
I'm still wondering why no one here caught them before me

I was walking in some corridors to join Halle 1 and that's what I could see through the window

They did it again ...

2 seconds after that, a tuned 996 C4S

Well, I'd have to exit the show in order to get there, so I finished visiting and went there at 5PM

Just had the time to see the only SLR there (the black one) leaving the show followed by a Maybach 62

The two 57's left

Time to shoot that weird GT2-style 996 Carrera (I noticed that by visiting the tuner's website)

The same one a few hours before, TVR color (notice the difference between the previous ones taken in the shadow and those ones 8) )

Meanwhile the 62 came back and parked between the two 57 (quite impressive in fact, that guy really knew how to park that 6.2 meters long ship). I couldn't take the pic I wanted because of some idiots taking pics of the Maybach emblem with their mobile phone and wandering around the cars

997 passing by

I was just leaving when the SLR came back (the sun was low, so the pics of the back didn't turn good and still the same dumbasses around )

Quite a cool Turbo

Nice pictures of great cars! Besides the Maybachs and the SLR that Porsche Turbo is fitted with Porsche's PCCB brakes 8) You don't see those that often.

Cheers

Great pics!!
That 996TT looks damn cool. I only saw the black SLR (I didn't noticed the Maybachs), and it was around closing time, when I was heading for the hall with all the tuning companies, like Brabus, Carlsson, AC Schnitzer etc. After we had to get our of that hall, I didn't saw it anymore

So big thanks for the pics, this I can still experience the stuff I missed

If you took the time to read you will see it is a Carrera improved with a GT2-alike look

Thanks Darkel for posting your outdoor sightings!
I only saw the Maybach-Shuttle-service cars (MB CLS), so I was sure there is a "test-drive" centre somewhere together with the SLR, but we didn't saw them
