Default Who has a 'quote book' where they work?

Inspired by jon_s's work-related post...

At this time of year we collate all the stupid quotes people have made during the year, which we write down, and give out prizes.

This is a pretty common thing to do in the UK, how about where you work?

Oh, and let us know the 'best' quote of 2005 in your workplace...

This isn't the best one, but one I can remember from this years quotes where I work:

(a colleague of mine after talking to a vertically challenged employee):

Him: There's lots of them about these days

Me: Lots of what?

Him: Midgets

(cue lots of people saying stuff like 'You can't say THAT in the office')

We missed our ethics refresher this year. hehe.

lol We have something similar at my work.

I work at a news station and we have pictures on the wall in the control room of a majority of the people that work there (esp. anchors). The people with pictures don't know, but on the back of their pictures is every stupid thing they have ever said and these lists are updated religiously.

A couple quick ones that come to mind are our Weatherman saying its a great time to goto the Gulf of Mexico. (about 2 weeks afte katrina hit)

Another favorite was one of our camera ops stating that he couldn't understand lesbians but he could understand gay men- because at least with gay men there was penetration.

i'm sure that was also raising a few questions about him

lol actually there is one which I am still kidded about at work.

One of our weather forcasters is actually gay and I never knew it. I did know that he always was very picky about things ect.

When I finally learned that he was in fact gay I mentioned that I never had thought that about him and I just thought he was really anal about things. And everybody began laughing and saying "Well he is really anal..."

We have one in my dorm. Among the highlights is one I put up.

A friend of mine named Joe is racist. Very racist. He's also Korean.

While talking to a girl from the second floor, Joe is mentioned. Her response: Of course Joe's racist, he's Korean.
