I have lost all feeling in two of my fingers since last Monday. I presumed it was some kind of cramp due to bad circulation or something and that it would go away in a few days.
Anyway I have now been told that I have suffered a RSI (Repetitive Strain Injury) due to too much and bad keyboard use:

In particular I have been diagnosed with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

I will now probably require surgery to repair my tendon. I haven't even been to a doctor in 14 years let alone a damn hospital...so you can imagine how much I am looking forward to that.
Anyway I always thought all these types of injurys were bullshit and just another excuse to sue Microsoft...I can now confirm they are very real and not nice at all....
I have been working on keyboards since I was eight years old and I cant believe that this has happened to me now....especially as I was thinking about having another go with dragon naturally speaking (voice recognition software)...its one of those things that you never think is going to happen to you.....until it does....
Its taken me ages to type this out with one hand so I hope it might be a warning to the other heavy posters here...and of course expect alot less and smaller posts from me until my other hand has recovered.
