Default The new Volvo C30

Soon revieled, november, is the new Volvo C30! And by the look of it, I would buy this car over those VW Polos and BMW 1-series. Just look at it! It's small, muscular and it really stands out!
You can get it with a four cylinder enginge, with 100bhp or a 1.6 diesel version pumping out 109 bhp.
But we are all most interested in the five cylinder turbo charged T5, which produce 220 bhp!

So what do we say people, is this the savior for Volvo to replace Volvos rather boring trademark and get more young people aboard the Volvo ship?

Here's a small video of it driving in a tunnel, unfortunely no sound:

I'd take it if I was in for a car in that segment. Looks great.

Haha...stranger things have happened, but it'd be really nose-heavy.

Like the interior, but if they make a right-hand-drive, I'd have to start the car using my left hand, which would be a bit weird.

The back looks a bit strange, but on the whole, the car looks well-balanced and appropriately powered. Volvo dynamics may be a bit off compared to say, the higher-end 1 Series models, but the 1 Series is butt ugly. I'd buy it if I had the money.

Nice rims.

I'm really suprised that this 'news' have gone by so many here at Jabbasworld, this is gonna turn the tide for Volvo. But I guess exotics attracts most views...

Volvo will get some younger buyers and that XC90 is getting there too, beacuse they need it. Volvos image today is familys with atleast 2-3 kids and a house + a dog. Or it's their S80, drivin by older men in their 50s...

This car is gonna bring more customers to the Volvo brand, giving it a more hip appeal.

Maybe it's just me, living in "Volvo-land" but this model is gonna be a very interesting thing indeed. They suceeded with the XC90 despite the prescence of the X5, RX300, Touraeg and the other SUvs. The T5 C30 isn't going to blow away the 130i but it's gonna give a good run for it's money!

My 2 cents

Give it 4WD and it'll sell like hotcakes.

I would assume this would be a challenger to the 1 Series and the A3. Prices would probably start off around the same as those, possibly slightly lower, seeing as the C30 is smaller.

Here the Volvo S60 is not that far away from the A4 and 3-Series... so I guess that the price will be set between the Golf and the A3.
then it will cost a lot. Here the new golf gti is 30,000 usd

Golf GTIs aren't actually marketed alongside the other Golfs.
