Wir sprechen nicht alle Deutsch, vielleicht konnen Sie Ihre posts am Zukunft auf English machen?

This news is shocking BTW!

Huh?

It doesn't look remarkably different at face value.

No, it always sat 2 people. It's just the name they gave it. There's also the "ForFour" which seats 4 people.

So is this like the 996 going to the 997, but worse in the fact that they didn't even change anything?

And least they changed the headlights for 997.. but the ForTwo, someone just crossed out the model year on the design plan and put down 2007 before photocopying

Wonder what they'll do to the Smart Roadster. With a better gearbox and engine, I can see it turning into a fun decent roadster, especially for people in the city. Hopefully the improved Smart Roadster will be on sale in Canada

^I agree, the Smart Roadster idea doesn't seem so bad. It even looks decent, which cannot be said for this piece of junk.

So is this the one that they plan to bring to the United States for '08? I am on the fence about the styling of these cars but I think they would be quite useful for our cities with cars that are too big for them. Its about time they came here. Maybe Americans will see the advantage of not needing giant gas guzzlers.

Actually, I find this ForTwo to be very different to the original one. The changes are larger IMO then the stuff that happened between the newest Mini or the Boxster.

^Sure, it looks a bit nicer inside, but the concept and looks are still the same old dodgy concept and looks.
