Default Pics from Venezia (Venice)

As you might know, I spent the past WE, from Thursday to Sunday in Venezia, Italy, and even if I knew car sightings would have been impossible, I took my camera with me like any other tourist
I even had to buy a small emergency tripod to take some night shots since during the day there were just too many ppl to have fun

I am not that proud with the result, I wasn't really focusing on what I was doing most of the time as pics weren't really the main point of the trip and I had limited time for them, but the night ones could be interesting, as long as some of the last one where the late afternoon light is really something..

Enjoy!

Beautiful but at the same time strange city cause you have a feeling it is made for only purpose - tourists to visit it.
Would love to visit it again and actually stay there for some time to travel and live it thruout

Beautiful pics TT, a little weird not to see any cars aint it?

Well, it was transformed in a trourists' trap by the modern men obviously..

I can only picture how magic Venice could have been 200 or 300 years ago. Now as you said it's stuffed with tourists, really way too many. From that point of view it's one of the worst cities of the world, also because of all those narrow roads, but it still keep part of the magic, and wandering around at night in those small passageways or bridges gives you the shivers. Unique, a must see in your life because you'll never forget it. It was my second visit, and as I said elsewhere, i'll keep going back (despite the lack of cars). BTW, I emailed the artist who built the wooden and floating F50 before leaving, asking him if it was possible to see the car but no answer :bah:

Yep, indeed thursday it was already much better than the other days, and for sure if you'll visit in a "weird" moment like January or March (not Feb, there is the carnival with 50 bazilion ppl around ), it must be nice.

Still, must be a real nightmare to live there and have to cope with the damn tourists we are

Warning: This is an imposter pretending to be TT. The real TT goes on a holiday and posts a lot of pics of hot chicks (and I dont mean the flying variety) also. Conspicuously absent here!

Nice pics man! Venice was a nice city - I went there 20 years back. Wierd though that the roadways are replaced by waterways

I agree -On my trip - I went to the following countries - France, Germany, Netherlands, UK, Austria, Switzerland, Italy.

Italy had the best looking and best dressed women by far. Nice(France) was a close second! I didnt go to Spain though - I believe there are a lot of hotties there - lucky Dani boy!
