I saw the show and it was entertaining as always. The show was about the gun as one of the inventions that changed the world. There were some things I didn't know yet and Clarkson's style of describing events was light and amusing. Good stuff.

But the best part was him as fighting the guerrilla warfare.LOLLLLLLLL
After 10 sec he was dead.

And as the sargent tryied to explain how to use the weapon and at the end of 20 sec goes and says
" can i have a pistol instead as this is very heavy" LOL
At the end of the show he was absolutly exhausted.
Probably the episode where he had to work the most.

Jeremy Clarkson's Inventions That Changed The World

From what we eat and wear to how we travel, our lives are governed by inventions.

Sometimes a new invention comes along that doesn't just change our way of life, it changes the world - television, for instance, which has had an enormous impact on our culture.

Jeremy Clarkson makes a passionate champion for the inventions and the inventors he believes have changed the way the modern world operates.

The gun, the car, the jet engine, the television, the telephone and the computer are all subject to Jeremy's polemical enthusiasm. (KC)

It wasn't just about war. He told a lot of things about the development of the gun, anecdotes about the engineers and pioneers. You can expect JC to do that in an amusing way. He didn't make war look like fun or anything. He also spent quite some time on just how awful gunshot wounds are and what an enormous amount of casualties guns have made throughout history.
