I thought you guys hated "straight line speed" ?
And again.. for a million dollars and an entire bank of NASA computer management and 1000bhp on tap, wouldn't people expect this car to be this fast?
It's no quicker than any 1000hp Viper or 1000hp Koenig Testarossa

blahblahblah - its odd that only now - 10 years after we started having 1000hp street cars running aorund everywhere in the US, that you euros all of a sudden "know and like high hp straightline speed"...
The difference... barely 1 person on JW could dream of owning that 1000hp street car... but more than half of JW could easily afford to love and live with a US-based 1000hp street car
You guys dream - we do.

The thing is that the Veyron is much more refined than any other 1000hp car in the world.

Not out of the box with warranty, come snow and rain drive cars....

Bull - we have proof - the first Veyron in the rain spun out and smashed itself to pieces in English ditch remember??
After smashing into an innocent road user.

Again - for over a million dollars, a bank of NASA computers, 4WD, a trillion dollars of R&D it should be.
What's so surprising there?

Nothing is surprising here, even your childish anti-Veyron propaganda is something typical of these threads.
