It will never end.. the liberals, dems, yahoos, treehuggers and anti-west league will sadly never stop their hate speech.
There is almost no community left of which to speak anymore. The e-thugs on JW seem to really get off high-fiving each other as they attack the minority that doesn't "share their view".
The bottomline is that JW has split into the majority e-gang - and the few they attack.
As Exihibit A I will use the e-mob that will decend on this response to drown out the authors views.

in all honesty, i think there are a lot of people who think this has been going on far too long. Pretty much since the ban so and so threads a couple months back.
I think it's just the fact that more and more people got fed up with seeing the same crap they just saw all over the news get posted in the one place they could come to escape it, that they just decided enough was enough and went off.
Beneath it all, i don't think it's so much left vs right or christian vs muslim, as it is 'go fuck yourself, we're tired of hearing this shit 24 fucking 7'.

It's plain to see that JW is a tight knit community of people and that's its major attraction to people like me. All this flaming is totally killing the vibe of the site. I mean, shit, let's at least flame each other over car preferences.

Not just cars but focus on the positives like hobbies, pictures, What you saw and the normal sections which have been the core of JW from the beginning. To me, coming to this site made me take an interest in areas that hitherto I was clueless about - photography and scale models. It was a joy listening to people share their knowledge and work together to build our skills up. This is what I mean by focussing on the positives.
Instead, today there is too much religious (Christian, Muslim) and political propoganda (both virulently pro and against) in the guise of "news" being floated around that is creating arguments everywhere.
A lot of it by truly naive people who haven't travelled the world and seen things with their eyes but going by news articles that seem to favor their biases. Also, there seem to be a lot of people (debate champions) who love to argue ad nauseum for no reason. Get a life!
